Editor Basics - Publishing

In this guide, you will learn how to publish and share your stories with the world!

Let’s get started by creating a new story or opening an existing one. Above, we have a basic story with a single Character, Emily in the Warehouse environment.

When you are ready to share your story with the world, navigate to the top of the Editor and select the Draft/Commit dropdown.

By default, each story is created using the Draft state. Once you are happy with your changes, you can select Commit from the dropdown. This will push your changes to the cloud and make your story Live, allowing you to share with anyone.

Once your story has been successfully committed, you can share the story code with anyone. If you need to make changes to your story after you have committed, you can do so without affecting the published story. Once your changes are made, click commit again to push the updated story to the cloud (and your audience).

At any time, you can view your story code or change it by clicking the Publish button at the top of the Editor. You can also copy a link to share that will open 3Dstoryteller Studio and load the story for your audience.
