Dashboard
Let’s take a look at the 3Dstoryteller Studio Dashboard. In this guide, we will review new story creation, templates, and more.
The Dashboard’s primary function is to manage your stories. Here, you can create a new story from scratch or use one of our built-in templates to hit the ground running.
The Dashboard is also where you will access existing stories and enter story codes to view stories shared with you.
To create a new story from one of our templates, simply select the desired template and 3Dstoryteller Studio will do the rest.
Let’s click on the Product Demo template to create a basic story.
You can see that the Studio has selected an environment, added a character and a few props, and is ready for you to start telling your story (more on this later!).
Let’s return to the Dashboard by clicking the 3Dstoryteller logo in the upper left corner.
Note that the Product Demo story you just crated is now displayed next to the Create new story button. Any other stories you create will appear here as well.
Let’s go ahead and create a new story from scratch.
Click the Create new story button and enter a name for your Project.
Currently, creating a new story from scratch will set a default environment, add a basic character, and a few basic props to help you get started.
In the next guide, we will dive into the Editor Camera and begin bringing our stories to life.
